From the Ground Up! 🩷🪏

Today we broke not just walls but barriers as we broke ground on our new Mosaic Women's Health Center.

The new space will offer services like preventive care, obstetrics, gynecology and wellness support – aiming to reduce risks linked to maternity care deserts and maternal mortality rates.

The new clinic, made possible by generous community support through the St. Francis Foundation and a significant investment from Mosaic Life Care, is set to open in late summer of 2026.

We want to help spread the word of this upcoming event being put on by some of our friends in St. Joe!

Lisa Weiland, a longtime Mosaic Life Care caregiver lost a very short and aggressive battle with breast cancer in September.

To honor her life and to create a legacy, the inaugural Healing Through Laughter event has been created!

Proceeds from this evening will establish the Lisa Weiland Breast Cancer Screening and Prevention Fund, which will help patients in Maryville, Albany and St. Joseph access the screenings they need for early detection through mammograms, ultrasounds, genetic testing and more!

On this Veterans’ Day we take a moment to remember:

We remember those who have served and those who are now serving

We remember those who gave the last full measure of devotion

We remember those who came home with scars whether visible or invisible

We remember their service and their sacrifice

We remember the families and loved ones who sacrificed to support and encourage their service members

We remember them all with respect and gratitude.

May God watch over these special people and pour out a blessing of grace and peace upon our veteran community.

And may all those now serving and their loved ones be given strength, wisdom, and peace. Amen. 🇺🇸❤️

Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville, along with St. Francis Foundation, invites the community to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the new women's health clinic on Tuesday, November 18th at 10 a.m. Attendees can park in the Main Entrance parking lot and enter the hospital through the main entrance. Please follow the posted signs down the Administration hallway to the new clinic space. A short program will begin at 10 a.m., followed by light refreshments.

Jodi Griffin, Quality Improvement Coordinator for Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville is the recipient of the inaugural Ron & Billye McCrary Scholarship for Nursing Excellence. Jodi began her nursing career under the mentorship of the Billye. Years later, life came full circle when Jodi had the honor of caring for Billye as her nurse, a touching reflection of the lasting impact Billye made on the nursing community and all who knew her. Jodi is currently pursuing her MSN at Northwest Missouri State University.

The Ron & Billye McCrary Scholarship for Nursing Excellence was established in 2024 to honor Billye’s lifelong nursing career and commitment to education and quality health care.
