A big game is tomorrow (Go Clones!). The wagers in each class have been documented. 🤣This year we have notably more ISU folks and some Hawks need new outfits and socks!!! I’m bummed I missed getting a couple pics for the other classes! Tomorrow will be exciting!

Thursday 8/21 at 2:30 is Parkinson’s Support Group. Laura from Elderbridge is going to are the programs and services they offer . All are welcome and there is no charge to attend. Gathering is at MROM/Rock Steady Boxing at Southbridge Mall (near food court)

We are saddened to say that Jeff “ Boomer” Boyes has passed away. One of our boxers who would come with his sweet wife Martha to class. He made us laugh and will forever be known as the man who shared a 15min flying squirrel story as Get to Know You Question on National Squirrel Day! We thought it would be a fast and boring GTKY? …boy were we WRONG!

His smile would light up then and every time we saw him in IOOF or Rockwell when he talked of Gwendolyn and Lena. He will watch over them always

Parkinson's Support Group is tomorrow (Thursday, May 15th) at 2:30-3:30 pm at the MROM/Rock Steady Boxing location in Southbridge Mall (near food court).

With Parkinson's, Movement is Critical! Many utilize Tai Chi as an exercise/movement practice as it focuses on mindfulness, balance, and cross midline movements while being soothing and peaceful. Tomorrow's support group is Dr. Glen Hepker providing a Tai Chi class. Come check it out and experience what Tai Chi really is!
