Apparently God does not want me to make some customers go through a 60 day dry period with me having to dry Nellie and Phyllis off next week! A cow with a week old heifer calf and a soon to calve heifer landed in my lap on Friday! A neighbor inherited these two when his brother died a couple years ago and when the reality hit that he was about to have a lot of milk on his hands he went searching for a buyer. He first went to my neighbor Morris who’s a dairy farmer and Morris gave him my number. I tried to make the excuse that I couldn’t afford them because I just bought a bulk tank but he told me I could pay in installments. 🤷‍♂️ I don’t know yet if these ladies are A2 cows yet but the milk tester is coming Friday. I’ll wait to test the heifer when she calves rather than sending a hair sample in for dna testing.

Anyway, with ten head and four more calves coming before June of next year, I am now in desperate need of more pasture!! It is time to start some hardcore prayer that God will provide soon!
