Understanding Your Chakra Body & Alignment

Date & Time: 2nd & 4th Wednesday January to April 6-7:30pm

In this 8 class series we will explore each major chakra to gain a better understanding of their role in our mental & physical well-being and special concerns of each. Crystals, colors, and sounds as tools to aid in alignment and balancing will also be discussed. Expect to journal and experience what each of your chakras has to tell you about its health and wellbeing through guided meditation.

“I am the Lite, I am the Love, I am the Truth.
We all look for the lite:
Lite vibes in a heavy situation, lite in the dark, lite to warm, lite to focus attention, we enjoy the dark nights knowing we will witness the Lite at the beginning of the Day.

Long before time was measured, the winter solstice was one of the most sacred moments of the year. It marked the longest night, when darkness was at its deepest point and the sun was weak. To our ancestors, this was not simply an astronomical event—it was a moment of profound uncertainty and hope. The solstice represented the fragile pause between decline and renewal.

Across prehistoric Europe, stone monuments were raised to honor this turning point. Sites such as Stonehenge and Newgrange were deliberately aligned so that the rising or setting sun on the solstice would pierce the darkness and illuminate the heart of the structure. This was no coincidence; it was a ritualized conversation with the cosmos. When sunlight reached those inner chambers, it symbolized rebirth, balance restored, and the assurance that life would continue through the harsh winter months.

In the north, ancient Germanic and Norse peoples celebrated Yule, a lengthy fire festival held over many days and nights. Great hearth fires were lit in the belief they would strengthen the sun, evergreen boughs were brought indoors as symbols of enduring life, and offerings were made to gods and spirits who governed the natural world. The Wild Hunt was said to ride the winter skies, reminding people of the thin veil between worlds during the darkest nights of the year.

The ancient solstice was a reminder written in fire and stone: even at the deepest darkness, the wheel turns, and light will return.
