Sacral and SI joint discomfort are common in pregnancy as pelvic stability shifts and posture adapts. When muscles compensate to stabilize the pelvis, tension can build and irritate the joint.

Care during pregnancy is gentle and individualized, supporting mobility and reducing surrounding tension to improve comfort and function. If sitting, rolling in bed, or walking has become uncomfortable, you’re not imagining it. We’re here to help.

Sometimes care extends beyond the table.

When appropriate, we offer select supportive products in clinic to complement individualized care plans. Everything is chosen thoughtfully and recommended intentionally.

When people think “adjustment,” they often imagine force.

Pediatric adjustments are incredibly gentle.
Light contact. Small movements. Specific support.

It may look quiet, but it’s intentional care designed for developing nervous systems.

Care here isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Each visit is guided by assessment, nervous system response, and the physical demands of your current season (not a preset routine.)

Pregnancy care is never one-size-fits-all.

Supporting someone in early pregnancy looks different than supporting someone at full term or supporting a body carrying twins. Each visit is guided by assessment and adapted to the physical demands of that stage—not a preset routine.

Care is individualized and always gentle. The details come from the assessment.

During a pediatric visit, I assess joint movement, muscle tone, muscle tension, spinal curve development, and—especially in babies under two months—oral function.

These findings guide my clinical decisions and help me support the nervous system safely and intentionally.

This approach supports families from pregnancy through early childhood.

We’re in clinic today [Tuesday] from 12–6 🤍

Slower clinic days are intentional here. They allow space for connection, regulation, and thoughtful care—especially for pregnancy, postpartum, and little nervous systems.

This is what care looks like at Bumps & Babes Wellness.

Prenatal care doesn’t always look dramatic, and it doesn’t need to be.

Sometimes it’s quiet, consistent support that helps the body prepare for birth rather than just cope with discomfort as it comes up.

This kind of care supports regulation, resilience, and readiness long before labor begins.

One of the most intentional parts of our clinic is the environment itself.

Babies don’t respond to force or urgency, they respond to safety.

The tools you see here aren’t meant to distract or entertain. They’re chosen to help a baby feel oriented, supported, and calm so their nervous system can do its job.

When the body feels safe, change happens more easily (for babies and parents.)

This is often the part parents don’t expect, but end up appreciating most.

Ear infections are one of the most common reasons parents feel stuck between “wait it out” and “what else can I do?”

This is a resource we often point families to when ear infections keep coming up…strategies that can be used alongside or before medical intervention.

This post is meant to educate and empower [🚫not replace medical care] and can be a helpful starting point if your child is prone to ear discomfort or repeat infections.
