Today at The Cottage, we’re celebrating the legendary Olivia Newton-John’s birthday the best way we know how — with a Grease sing-along!

From "Summer Nights" to "You’re the One That I Want," we had a blast singing and dancing along to these timeless hits.

We love honoring icons who brought so much joy and music into our lives — and today was truly “electrifying!” ⚡️🏡

Bird Watching Club at The Cottage of Mason!

Today our Bird Watching Club gathered for a peaceful morning of spotting some of our favorite feathered friends.

Residents enjoyed the fresh air, warm sunshine, and the excitement of catching a glimpse of everything from cheerful cardinals to curious blue jays.

This club is a favorite for those who love nature, conversation, and a relaxing way to start the day. We can’t wait to see who lands on our feeders next week!🐦‍⬛🏡

This past weekend, the Community First Solutions team and proudly participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s!

Our amazing staff, families, and friends came together to support such an important cause and show our commitment to raising awareness and finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

We are so proud of our team’s dedication, energy, and compassion — both at work and in our community. Thank you to everyone who walked with us, donated, and cheered us on. Together, we are making a difference. 💜🏡

Every Day is a Holiday at The Cottage of Mason!

Happy Assisted Living Week 2025! This week, we had so much fun celebrating all of our favorite holidays, all in just one week!

🍀 Monday – We kicked things off with St. Patrick’s Day, complete with lovely gifts from Hospice of Southwest and Queen City Hospice.

❤️ Tuesday – It was Valentine’s Day, and we were spoiled with goodies from Northstar Hospice.

🎃 Wednesday – We went all out for Halloween, and our amazing managers even hosted a trick-or-treat for the staff!

🦃 Thursday – We shared a special Thanksgiving dinner together and reflected on how grateful we are for one another.

🎄 Friday – We closed out the week by spreading some Christmas cheer!

This week, we celebrate and honor everyone who dedicates their lives to making sure our seniors are truly thriving. Thank you all for making The Cottage of Mason a place filled with love and joy, not just this week, but every single day.

Grandparents Day Came Early at the Cottage of Mason!

We kicked off the celebrations a little early this year with a delicious Pie Bake-Off in honor of Grandparents Day — and what a sweet time it was!

It was a day filled with laughter, storytelling, and of course… plenty of pie!

🏈🍂 The Cottage of Mason is officially ready for FOOTBALL SEASON! 🍂🏈

Today our team spirit was on full display as everyone showed off their favorite jerseys (and yes… a little friendly rivalry came with it)!

We kicked things off with Punt, Pass, Pop, then got creative designing our very own “jerseys!” After a tasty lunch, we enjoyed reliving some of the best halftime shows and snapping plenty of spirited photos!

The fun isn’t over yet—tonight we’re wrapping up the day with Touchdown Trivia! 🏆🏡

In August, we kicked off something brand new and SO much fun — our Aerial America Series!

Each week, we “fly over” a different city with Aerial America, then bring that city to life by making (and of course EATING 😋) a snack that’s iconic to the area.

Our first stop? 🗽 New York City!

From skyline views to the buzz of the streets, we soaked in all things NYC… and then celebrated the Big Apple the best way we know how: with NYC-inspired snacks! 🥯

It was the perfect combo of travel, history, and food — without ever leaving home. ✈️🍴

Our residents have been exploring new and meaningful ways to express themselves through art — from painting and drawing to hands-on crafts. These moments aren’t just about creating something beautiful, they’re about connection, joy, and the freedom to share stories through color and imagination. 🏡

🌪✨ We’re not in Kansas anymore… we’re at The Cottage of Mason! ✨🌪

Today, we followed the yellow brick road straight to our Carnival of Oz — where every resident, caregiver, and visitor got to be the Wizard, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, or the Lion of their own story.

From Munchkin-sized treats 🍭 to courageous carnival crafts 🦁, heartwarming moments ❤️, and brain-teasing sing a longs🧠, our community was truly somewhere over the rainbow. 🌈

We may not have flying monkeys 🐒, but we do have a team that puts their whole heart, brain, and courage into creating magical memories every day.

As Dorothy said, “There’s no place like home” — and there’s certainly no place like The Cottage of Mason. 🏡💛
