We had a blast learning about birds with K'vod Connect from Jewish Family Service - Cincinnati ! From the vibrant northern cardinal to the majestic blue heron that calls our pond home, it was a day full of fun facts and feathered friends. Our residents had a wonderful time crafting candlesticks with K'vod Connect from Jewish Family Service - Cincinnati ! 🕯️💜

Using model magic clay, each piece was molded to perfectly hold a battery-operated tea light—some will use them for Shabbat, others simply as beautiful handmade décor. After molding, we added special touches with watercolor paint for a truly unique and meaningful project. It was a joyful afternoon of creativity, connection, and hands-on fun! ✨

Residents learned about the benefits of essential oils with Jewish Family Service - Cincinnati K'vod Connect! 💖 They had an opportunity to smell 10 different oils and what those were good for and then chose one to make their own diffuser. The most popular scent was definitely lavendar, which has soothing, relaxing properties. For the next several months they will enjoy the aroma and the advantages of their oil!
