We hope you all are having a magical and merry Christmastime, but we also know there plenty of reasons the holidays can be hard. This might be a good time to brush up on some coping skills with the holiday blues.

Do the holidays leave you feeling empty, or just stressed and exhausted? Please know that that is totally understandable. It is even okay to dislike the whole darn season!

Just be good to yourself and make sure to set your intentions towards using healthy coping methods like the ones suggested in this article, "An Overview of the Holiday Blues", and by talking to a therapist if you notice your feelings deepen into depression or are ongoing.

• Get outside during daylight hours, even for 10 minutes
• Keep moving (those walk between shops in downtown Mason counts!)
