🎙️New Episode

A special addition to our monthly clinical corner recap- Matt and Allie welcome clinic manager Ryan Parnell, PT DPT OCS to discuss the two articles pulled for March. Ryan introduces himself, poses his question to the PT students listening, and walks our listeners through both articles. You'll hear about a clinical trial that was conducted where electrical dry needling was implemented along with manual therapy and exercise for patients with knee osteoarthritis in comparison to patients who only received manual therapy and exercise. In the follow-up article, researchers found that "booster" visits every 4 weeks after completing treatment with electrical dry needling was much more effective in maintaining pain-free function.
