More Than Boundaries Support Group

You’ve read the book(s) on boundaries; you know you need to set and keep better boundaries in your personal life, but HOW? How can you grow from just talking about boundaries to implementing healthy boundaries that don’t get all squishy when pressure is applied?
I’m Kathy Sprinkle, a certified Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapist from Counseling Alliance in Cincinnati. Starting Monday, June 26th, I will be moderating an online support group especially but not exclusively, for women who have been betrayed. This group will focus on how to set and maintain boundaries that keep you and your loved ones emotionally, physically and spiritually safe.
There is so much more to boundaries than drawing up a “Thou Shalt Not” list of rules for others. As a matter of fact, that’s not it at all! Come learn about YOU, about your personal gifts and values which will help you discern exactly who and what you are protecting. This is the beginning step for setting safeguards in your life. Join other women in learning to write your personal DNA statement, understanding deeper, or perhaps for the first time, the unique person you are in the world-a person worth valuing and protecting.
The group will meet for 10 weeks (June 26-August 11, off for 2 holidays) on Monday nights from 6:30-8:00pm. The cost for each 90-minute session is $60. For more information, call Terri at 513.376.9757.

So, now what? What do you do with those feelings of shame, anger, humiliation, and sadness? Should you leave or stay? Who can you trust with this huge secret that was not of your making?
My name is Kathy Sprinkle. I’m a Licensed Social Worker and a Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapist based in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have years of experience in assisting those struggling with betrayal trauma in my work as a therapist with Counseling Alliance, one of the Greater Cincinnati area's premier centers for the treatment of s*xual compulsivity/addiction and intimate partner betrayal.
I invite you to take a brave step toward restoration of yourself, your self-worth and dignity and to begin to see a future of fullness and purpose. Starting on Monday, February 27, I will be leading an 8-week online support group for women who are experiencing the aftermath of s*xual and emotional partner betrayal. The group When I Heal will meet on Mondays from 6:30-8:00pm (EST) and the cost is $60 for each 90-minute session. We will be using various resources to lead our discussions to understand the nature of s*xual acting out and its impact on partners. We will also be using guided visualizations, psychodrama, small groups, and enlightening group exercises to bring you information, hope and healing.
