Most deep fried foods are breaded with white flour, or they are potatoes(French fries). Healthy Alternative:

#2 Enriched White Flour

To enrich something means to make it richer by adding good things to it. If you add some organic apple cider vinegar to your water, you’ve enriched it. Enriched white flour must have lots of good things added, so it’s good for you. Right? Wrong!
The reality is that many of the good things that were originally in it have been stripped out through refinement. The components added back to the flour are actually toxic!
Iron is a “nutrient” added to enriched flour, except the type of iron added is not really a nutrient at all, but is considered a metallic iron. Metallic iron is not bioavailable to the human body and was never meant to be consumed.
Enriched flour is not absorbed by the body as wheat or a grain, in which case your body could use the energy slowly and effectively, but as a starch. That is because the wheat germ has been stripped from the flour; the FDA states that enriched flour cannot have more than 5% wheat germ.
White flour digests to sugar just as fast as table sugar and produces a similar insulin response.
Eating white flour forces your body to store fat.

Healthy Alternative:

This salad is really easy to make. It's not going to take much time and you don't have to be professional to make it.

Keep your Blood sugar stable

Keeping your blood sugar stable greatly contributes to healthy food choices. When you wait too long between meals or eat processed foods that spike blood sugar – leading to a crash in energy – you’re more likely to reach for sugar, fat, or caffeine to keep your energy up. Eat breakfast every day, within an hour rising.Eat six small meals every day
PROTEIN, FAT, AND COMPLEX CARBOHYDRATES

You should aim to get a serving from each group at every meal. This will create optimal blood sugar levels and stave off your cravings and brain fog. "Diet" is a word in our culture that tends to change people in a negative way, or turn people away from attempting to change their lifestyle. When most people diet they catch themselves cheating, lying, or craving food that is unhealthy. They then give into foods that prevent them from being healthy, making the diet process hard to live by.
My philosophy is instead of "dieting", people need to focus on "clean eating", in order to create a healthy lifestyle. Clean eating means to eat more whole, fresh foods. To create meals with more: leafy greens, fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, lean meat and fish. Healthy carbs is another component people need to understand and implement into their "clean eating" behavior. Processed food, packaged food, food in high sugar and fructose corn syrup and unhealthy carbs is an element in "clean eating" one should avoid.
The process I believe that can help people ease into "clean eating" is each day introduce yourself to one new food. The new food should be package free and only have one ingredient. Shaping one's lifestyle around my philosophy of "clean eating" will help those feel and look better.
