October 2025 marks a huge milestone for us - we're celebrating 20 YEARS in practice! It's also the 1-year anniversary of Dr. Nathan Loughridge's partnership! We are so proud of our team and the work we do.

We're also thrilled to welcome our new Associate Periodontist, Dr. Sharlene Demehri, to the practice! Dr. Demehri brings her expertise and passion for patient care, and we can't wait for you to meet her.

Finally, we're thrilled to announce that our Centerville office is undergoing some exciting renovations to create an even better experience for our patients. We can't wait to show you the space!

Harris & Loughridge Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is excited to welcome Dr. Sharlene Demehri to our practice!

Sharlene was born and raised in southern Maryland and attended the University of Maryland where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then pursued her dental training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she earned the General Practice Directors Award, the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Implant Student Award. After earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), Sharlene completed a residency in Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University where she served as the Chief Resident.
Professionally, Dr. Demehri is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is active in organized dentistry through the American Dental Association and American Academy of Periodontology. In addition, Dr. Demehri has a heart for service and first met Drs. Ryan and Tiffany Harris on the Dominican Dental Mission Project where they all continue to serve.
Dr. Demehri enjoys spending time with her family, especially her puppy “Bonnie”. She loves to travel, cook, and go skiing! Dr. Demehri looks forward to providing excellent care and establishing meaningful professional relationships with the patients and practices we are all privileged to serve!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dr. Rob Jensen on his recent eye injury. In this challenging moment, we are blessed that this has brought us together and we will now be taking over his Centerville practice as a third location for Harris & Loughridge Periodontics & Implant Dentistry.

We wish Dr. Jensen the best as this new chapter of his life unfolds and we remain excited and thankful to continue serving the Cincinnati and Dayton communities in this greater capacity!

Harris Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is searching for a Dental Hygienist, 3 days per week in our Mason office. We are looking for a professional with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, who is team-oriented, cooperative and collaborative. We have an awesome team and great hours – no evenings or weekends. We offer competitive pay and benefits including health insurance, paid time off, 401K and more!
Our hygienists see 4-5 patients per day that are a mix of periodontal maintenance and scaling and root planing. We schedule 1.5 hours for perio maintenance and allow the necessary time for SRP. There are no production goals!

Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications:
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Experience and knowledge in treatment of all aspects of periodontal diseases and patient education
Compassionate and caring of patients
Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Complies with all office, local state, and American Dental Association regulations, protocols, and procedures
Licensed to practice in state of Ohio
Anesthesia Certification: Meet all local and state requirements to administer local anesthesia
X-Ray Certification: Meet all local and state requirements to operate radiography equipment
