ICYMI: Last Sunday, Local 12’s Liz Bonis hosted the Youth & Mental Health Town Hall, featuring a powerful panel discussion on the real struggles young people face today.

We’re proud that Dr. Tracy Cummings, Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, joined the conversation to share how the Lindner Center of Hope supports kids and their families through outpatient care and pediatrician support, group therapy, medication management, summer youth programs and partial hospitalization. She reminded us all how important it is to truly listen to understand the whole story.

This is worth the watch and worth sharing. Every time we talk about mental health openly, we take another step toward ending the stigma.

Liz Bonis hosts a panel discussion on kids and mental health. The program explores the real struggles families face as a new school year beg

Meet Elisabeth Renner, LPCC-S, Outpatient Therapist at Lindner Center of Hope!

Elisabeth works with adults and young adults, helping them navigate life’s challenges with compassion and curiosity. Her approach is all about collaboration and creating a safe, non-judgmental space for self-exploration, understanding, and meaningful change.

Elisabeth earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University and her BA in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. She draws from her training in Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapy (DARTT) with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping individuals explore how their early experiences shape the way they think, feel, and relate. With a trauma-informed and holistic perspective, she helps patients uncover the roots of anxiety, depression, and emotional pain while nurturing self-compassion and authentic connection.

We are so grateful to have Elisabeth on the team!

⚠️ Beacon's checking in with your latest Lindner Center of Hope Construction Update!

This week, crews began piering and piling the soil—an important step that will create a strong, stable foundation for our new Medical Office Building. Once this stage is complete, foundation and footer work will follow. With the gas line already finished and electrical work up next, it's well on its way to becoming a real space where more patients can find hope and healing, and more providers can have the room they need to deliver exceptional care.
