It’s the Monday before Christmas. Are we ready? Mentally? Emotionally? Physically? Weeks of preparation finished in minutes. And now I’m starting to wonder… do I even have enough gifts for the kids?

This is one of my favorite quotes -
I say this not just as a trainer, but as someone who genuinely cares about you. We spend money on so many things—clothes, gadgets, nights out, subscriptions we forget we even have. But the one thing that carries us through every single day is our body… and too often, it gets whatever time or energy is ā€œleft over.ā€

Investing in your health isn’t about having the perfect diet, the most intense workouts, or chasing some unrealistic image. It’s about choosing you. It’s about giving yourself the energy to show up for the people you love, the strength to feel confident in your own skin, and the freedom to enjoy your life without being held back.

Whether it’s a walk, a workout, drinking more water, or simply resting when you need it—every small choice adds up. And I promise you, the return on that investment is priceless.

Do you have a goal? Or do you need someone (hi, it’s me) to help you pick one?

I just set mine for February. I’m heading somewhere warm, which means a bathing suit is in my future — and yes, trainers have insecurities too. Shocking, I know. So I’m working on mine now, and honestly, just getting up and moving is helping in more ways than I expected.

Here’s the thing: exercise has way more positives than negatives. You don’t need to start by climbing a mountain… you just need to start by walking toward it. Every tiny step counts. Seriously — if you walked past the mountain while holding a snack, I’d still count it as effort.

Today I didn’t lift. Instead, I walked on the treadmill for 25 minutes, held a plank until my body politely informed me it was done (about 1:15), and squeezed in some tricep dips. Not as much as I used to do… but definitely more than last week.

That, my friends, is a win. A success. A gold star on the invisible chart. 🌟

Basically, it’s when your gym buddy, coach, or FACEBOOK FAMILY is silently judging you into greatness.

Good morning! šŸ‘‹
If you’ve noticed that I post in clusters and then disappear… you’re not wrong. šŸ˜… Truth is, fitness just hasn’t been my main focus for a while. When I used to post all the time, health and wellness was my full-time job. Life shifted, and so did my habits.

I also realized the less interaction I get, the less I feel like posting—which doesn’t mean people aren’t seeing anything, just that it’s quiet out there. And yes… confession: I haven’t been working out. At all. I know—shock! But winter had me in full hibernation mode. šŸ»ā„ļø

But I’ve got a new goal now, and I’m officially starting from scratch. Day 1 vibes over here. If anyone else is in the same boat, let me know—we can do this together. Accountability helps!

Right now my workouts are tiny steps:
Hop on the treadmill → 5 minutes → next time 10 → now I’m at 15. My whole workout is maybe 30 minutes. Nothing wild. Just rebuilding.

I’m sharing this because I want to encourage you to start too. And if you need a plan, motivation, discipline tips, or just someone to check in with, I got you. šŸ’Ŗ

I’m going to try to post daily—what I’m doing, how it’s going, all of it. If you’re starting over, if you’re trying to find time, or if you just feel stuck, reach out. We can help each other.
