What an outstanding event this past Juneteenth!!!! So many amazing people in the community came out to celebrate the freedom and empowerment for African Americans in this country. 💪🏼 Step By Step welcomes those of all different backgrounds and races. We are minority-owned/operated and look to serve people of color and specifically marginalized communities. Catch us at the next Health Expo event this August!

Had an amazing time at the memorial tour with the seniors of North Amityville😊 It’s times like this when we have to take the time to be grateful for the freedom we all have in this country and for the very soldiers who fought day in and day out to protect that freedom 🙏🏼 Thank you to all the veterans!!! If you are a veteran looking to get help with your balance and walking comment below “VETERAN” for a free consultation!

Happy everyone! Wednesdays are always a tough day for me to get through during the week but I wanted to share some encouragement for those who might feel the same way… 🗣️

Keep going and stay focused… 👀

You are on a journey that not everybody might understand and that’s okay…🤷🏻‍♀️

Not everyone has the same talents, skills, and characteristics as you…🎨

With a little patience and motivation to never give up, you can begin to discover a new life filled with joy and endless opportunity… 🕚

So go out there this and take on this hump day with gusto…💪🏼

And remember that every day is a gift, a chance, a blessing! 🎁

Wanted to share a beautiful conversation I had with a patient a couple months back. While working with her on some stepping exercises, she was frustrated because she had not been able to walk since she had a COPD exacerbation.

She told me “I’m ready to go, I don’t want to continue this life.” I told her, “you are strong, you are beautiful, you are capable of doing anything you put your mind to. We will do this together. I’m here for you.”

She teared up that day, but she didn't give up on herself and I did not give up on her…

3 months later, that woman is walking independently, is able to visit her grandchildren, and attends church weekly without hesitation.

All because she was given a chance, an opportunity, a reason to keep pushing and keep believing in her dream.
