Breastmilk constantly adjusts to meet your baby’s needs. Changing your milk temperature by up to two degrees is just one way your breastmilk can adapt to increase or decrease your baby’s body temperature.

Keeping your baby skin-to-skin at the breast will also help to regulate your baby’s body temperature and allows your baby (and you!) to practice and learn how to breastfeed.

Hey mamas!! We all know we hate those glucose tests during pregnancy! Did you know there are other options? Ask your OB or midwives for alternative options. One option is to test your own glucose throughout the day for a few weeks to see how it fluctuates. It is beneficial to see how the food that you consume changes your glucose levels. Insurance companies often cover these. Talk to your provider when it comes time 😊
