Steph Pugh, Coordinator of Development & Executive Services received the "Community Impact Award" from CareSource (Ohio Medicaid). Ms. Pugh was nominated by Michelle Zanders, a Community Marketing Representative. This is what Michelle had to say...
"I have nominated you for our CareSource Community Impact Award. This award recognizes a person who exemplifies our mission of serving the underserved. It is designed to honor individuals who show dedication, compassion, and commitment to making a positive difference in the community. I have personally witnessed you going above and beyond with bringing the Stark County community together during your Health & Resource Fair. It was well-planned and organized with a lot of community participation. I want to thank you for allowing me to be a resource for the patients Lifecare serves by providing a resource table at both Canton locations as well as Massillon."

On October 23, one of our Nurse Practitioners, Holly Dawson, attended the Ohio Nurse Practitioner Statewide Conference and participated in a hands-on workshop on joint injections. The photo was taken during the session and shows her practicing one of the techniques.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women worldwide.
Our 3 Lifecare locations honored Breast Cancer Month by designing and displaying creative and informative bulletin boards for our patients to read.
