Furbaby Friday 🐾

Meet Xena, a 7-month-old cat adopted from Paws and Prayers by Funeral Director, Max.

Xena is quite the little hunter! She loves playing with her toys, whether she’s carrying around her stuffed raccoon, chasing a laser pointer, or grabbing onto a string toy and growling like she’s caught real prey.

Personality-wise, Xena is a bit of a princess. She prefers affection on her terms and tends to be more of a recluse compared to her adopted sister, Freyja. While she does enjoy the occasional cuddle, she’s usually happiest having her own space.

Her favorite treat seems to be turkey, and while her tricks are still “to be determined,” her personality more than makes up for it.

Being a solid black cat, Xena also serves as a sweet reminder of Shauna’s childhood cat, Fuzzy.
