By voting Yes on Issue 1, you are helping Stark County residents like Kylen Long.

Kylen uses Stark DD services to create welcoming spaces where he can learn and be supported. Young people like him can receive individualized instruction focused on functional academics, communication and socialization skills, behavior support, and practical tasks for living and working in the community.

If this levy fails, vital services like these will be cut, putting the health and safety of the children and adults Stark DD serves at risk.

DSM is looking for part time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to take adults with disabilities out in the community to fun events - the library, restaurants, bingo, bowling, etc.
Most hours are evenings and weekends. Schedule is very flexible. Minimum starting payrate is $16/hour but increases based on experience and training.

For the last 23 years, we have been hosting MAKE 'm SMILE, the BIGGEST party celebrating kids with special needs, our VIPs, (of all ages) at Lake Eola in Orlando, FL.. It has traditionally been held on the first Saturday of June to commemorate the birthday of Nathaniel Timothy Kuck (June 6th).

Its been a busy few weeks for the DSM family.

Painting, Bowling, Fishing, Bingo, A Dance at Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Stark DD), Chuck E. Cheese and a visit to the Stark County Humane Society.

We have so much more fun in store for this summer!
