Our Story

Midwest Community Services (a sister company to Midwest Health Services, Inc and Community Health Network, LTD) is a family-oriented organization founded in 2000 by Joseph B. and Kristine Knetzer to provide superior supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Our mission is to provide person-centered, community-based supports to the people we serve. At Midwest we take pride in maintaining open lines of communication with those we serve and their families to better provide for each client鈥檚 unique needs. The Midwest family strives to be more than a provider of services; we are committed to being a valued asset in our community.

Midwest is certified and qualified to provide a broad range of supports to the people we serve and in delivering these services, we combine the highest level of professionalism with the warmth and personal attention you would expect from a family-run business.
