How caffeine can trigger anxiety ☕️

Stimulates the nervous system: Caffeine blocks adenosine (which promotes relaxation) and increases alertness, but this overstimulation can feel like anxiety.

Triggers "fight or flight": It releases adrenaline, mimicking the body's stress response, leading to a racing heart, rapid breathing, and tension.

Increases stress hormones: Caffeine boosts cortisol, making it harder to manage anxious thoughts.

Disrupts sleep: Its stimulating effects can interfere with sleep, and poor sleep worsens anxiety.

We wanted to share some information regarding medical weight loss/weight management due to all the insurance related changes that have occurred in the new year.

If your insurance plan has dropped coverage for a GLP1 injection 💉 (most commercial/private plans we work with have gone this direction), there are now FDA approved/tested options for name brand medications that you do not have to get through a facility that utilizes compounding, for around the same price.
