As a massage therapist over the years, I have watched the tension and anxiety ease from a client's shoulders and given a hand in getting an athlete back to peak condition. Massage can give a wonderful psychological boost to someone who is living with this chronic disease and striving to balance all the factors involved in maintaining a healthy lifestyle--proper nutrition, adequate exercise and stress management.
