Board Vice President Howard Hill participating in Agriculture Literacy Week is AITC’s largest outreach event every year. Volunteer readers across the state do an outstanding job of connecting the nonfarming public, especially students, to their food source. Children learn that farmers are community members who provide us with the food, fiber, and fuel that we all use daily. This year, 3,200 copies of Farm Boots are being donated to classrooms and school libraries.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Virginia Farm Bureau is committed to helping our community recover. All Farm Bureau offices will be open to accept essential relief supplies. If you would like to contribute, please consider bringing any of the listed supplies to your local Farm Bureau office by Monday, October 14th. Our teams will ensure that these supplies are distributed to those in need. Thank you!
