Job Title: Home Care Aide

Pay: $16-$18/hr (based on experience)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensure their comfort and safety, and provide emotional support. If you are a caring, patient individual who enjoys helping others, we would love to have you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
* Help with dressing, feeding, and mobility.
* Provide companionship and emotional support.
* Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
* Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the supervisor.
* Follow care plans and ensure clients' safety and comfort at all times.
* Provide transportation for clients to appointments or errands (if necessary).

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to lift and assist clients with physical mobility (if necessary)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable

Skills & Competencies:

* Good organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Empathy and a positive attitude

Buckle up… it’s about to get HOT!

Temperatures & humidity gradually climb through this week, making it feel warm and muggy out there. This is only the beginning though, and what lies ahead for the weekend & into early next week could be considered a true heat wave.

Starting Saturday, our air temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s, with dew points in the 60s and 70s. This combination will drive our heat index into the low to mid 100s for a large portion of lower Michigan by Sunday.
