Title: Home Care Aide
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Aide to provide personalized care and assistance to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life by supporting daily living activities and offering companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
✔️Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed
✔️Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs
✔️Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, cleaning, dishwashing)
✔️Provide medication reminders (as permitted by state regulations)
✔️Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors or family members
✔️Offer companionship and emotional support
✔️Accompany clients to appointments or run errands when required
✔️Follow care plans and all safety and infection-control guidelines
Qualifications:
✔️High school diploma or equivalent
✔️Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field, preferred but not required
✔️Ability to follow instructions and care plans accurately
✔️Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔️Compassionate, patient, and dependable
✔️Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or standing for extended periods
Work Environment:
✔️One-on-one care provided in clients’ private homes
