We are hosting July's Second Saturday Summer Clean-up at Riverside Cemetery, Section "L," this Saturday the 12th at 9:30 am. Enter at the Gull Road entrance nearest to Riverview Drive and proceed straight up the hill to Section L. Attached is a map of the cemetery for your assistance.

We will review proper gravestone cleaning techniques, tools, and cleaning solutions prior to the gravestone cleaning event on Saturday. All necessary tools and materials will be supplied by the Friends of Kalamazoo Historic Cemeteries. We will also take a little time to point out some of the unique and interesting gravestones located in this section. Finally, if you have plans to clean a family gravestone in another cemetery you are welcome to bring a small plastic spray bottle and we will share some of our free Orvus cleaner with you.

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday in Riverside Cemetery.
