After 10 years of doing cases in Berwyn we will be moving our services to Oak Park at an undisclosed location. We have had some disturbing things happen in these disturbing times. Our cost of course will be increasing in the next few months to offset the rising cost of a new location and other supplies needed. We have maintained our cost as low as possible and have not increased in the last 10 years. Once I see what additional cost we accrue I’ll set the price just to cover the increase in what we pay out. Thank you in advance for thinking of using us in your time of need and we hope our service is better after our move.

We switch phone service, from AT&T to Comcast for a package deal that we were offered. It was quite an ordeal as Comcast took our number without making sure our office was wired for their service. Needless to say we have been without phone service for a week. They are finally back on and we can be reached at our usual number 708-283-8200. Sorry if anyone was inconvenienced and thank you for your business

Our Pathologist is on vacation this week and we may not be able to schedule any private cases until August 3.

With the COVID 19 deaths we are at our max capacity for autopsies. We are open 9 to 5 Monday through Friday for scheduling autopsies and will take after hour calls to give information only, like procedure and cost. To schedule an autopsy you’ll have to call during business hours. We are asking for COVID test results for the deceased if you have one from their hospital. If you don’t have a test result then we can perform the test for a small fee. After the test is performed we are asking that all bodies be embalmed. Due to the amount of cases we have it may be a few days before we get to them. Embalming will not effect the autopsy results as much as decomposing will do.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic we will only do autopsies on cases that has been tested and have a negative for COVID result. If the patient has not been tested we can test for a minimal fee. The autopsy will not be performed if the patient is positive for COVID. If we transport patient you will be charged for a transportation fee. We can go to the hospital of FH and collect the sample for testing at no addditional charge.

Due to the COVID 19 outbreak. OSHA has passed a regulation that autopsies should not be performed on anyone with COVID 19 or any respiratory issues. Due to the safety of the medical personnel. Therefore we have limited our cases to those that meet the criteria set forth by OSHA. We will continue to accept medical legal cases and those without known COVID 19.
