Thank you Mr. Jeff with Carolina's Home Medical Equipment, Inc. for sizing Ella today for some new gear that will help her around the house. ❤️ Ella was fitted today for an activity chair that will give her added support at the dinner table and living room. We also ordered a car seat that swivels and has a foot rest for our big girl. We put plans in motion for a stair lift system so we can get her upstairs easier too. Lots of big changes but grateful to have their guidance when walking through this confusing foreign territory. ❤️

Did you know, Carolina’s HME now offers Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) products? Pam, (pictured left) is our CRT Intake Manager who spends her time helping folks like Dave, (pictured) obtain very specialized mobility equipment to meet the specific needs of customers with diagnoses such as neuromuscular diseases, congenital disorders, and certain types of injury or trauma.

What an awesome surprise and honor to be named the primary sponsor (honorary) for the Racing for ALS Hendrick Motorsports Track Attack car!!! Our CEO's fundraising efforts have helped Racing for ALS raise more than $125,000 over the past two years, aiding pharmaceutical research to find a cure to End ALS. ALS is an ugly disease and there is currently, no cure. It is not incurable, it is underfunded. Huge thanks to David & Scott Lloyd for this awesome visit to Carolina's HME to share the news!!!

How cool is this!!! Our CEO, Andrew Trammell has been raising awareness for ALS & money for ALS TDI via Racing for ALS over the past year. To our SURPRISE, they put us on their new Hendrick Motorsports racecar🚗!!! Our friend Dave was diagnosed with ALS 2.5 years ago and these folks are working endlessly to find a cure and !! What a nice gesture, thank you Racing for ALS!!

There's a big event coming up that is not allowed to be disclosed publicly due to Covid-19, so it has been difficult to raise support this year. ALS TDI, a 501 c3 pharmaceutical company focuses its research solely on developing ALS drugs and needs your help.

ALS impacts all ages and genders, with another person being diagnosed every 90 minutes. Life expectancy is 2-5 years after diagnosis, but the causes are not yet fully known, so please help them as we need a lot more research to get a cure for all of us! No donation is too small. As the world continues to adapt to the spread of COVID-19, we want you to know that your well-being is foremost in our minds and our decision-making. We are in constant contact with public health officials regarding the most up-to-date facts and continue to monitor this situation closely.

To protect our employees and patients, we will be making temporary changes due to Covid-19. As of Friday, March 20th, we will be operating on an appointment-only basis until further notice. Scheduled deliveries will not be impacted. Most of our staff are now working from home and we have limited resources available at our Matthews office.

Our primary focus is to ensure employee and patient safety, particularly for those that are compromised including hundreds of Hospice patients. We must limit exposure to our workforce on the ground to keep our most critical customers safe.

Experts continue to encourage prevention, not panic, and we want to remind everyone to practice social distancing and good hygiene – frequent hand-washing, using hand sanitizer and covering sneezes and coughs.

Realizing this is an inconvenience, we will be waiving any shipping fees on small supply orders. If you need routine CPAP supplies, please call (704) 846-7503, option 1 and we will ship your order as soon as possible.
