We're proud to announce that Thompson is participating in a groundbreaking new pilot program from NC Department of Health and Human Services that replaces restraint and seclusion with a trauma-informed approach to crisis intervention: Ukeru Systems

Ukeru, meaning "to receive" in Japanese, uses padded blocking techniques instead of restraint, helping staff create safer, more supportive environments for youth. This aligns perfectly with our values and commitment to innovation in trauma-informed care.

We're excited to lead the way in North Carolina toward more compassionate and effective methods of supporting children with complex needs. 💜
