Our Cumberland County ROSC team is excited to share this month’s newsletter with updates on local recovery efforts, upcoming events, and highlights from our amazing partners and community members. 💜

🛒 Shopping with WIC? We’re here to make it easier! 🍼

We know shopping for WIC items can sometimes be tricky — especially when it comes to finding which foods are approved. That’s why we want to share a quick tip: Walmart shelf labels with a small black box and a white “W” mark WIC-approved items! ✅
To make shopping even smoother, check out IllinoisWICFoods.org — an interactive food guide that helps you:
🌽 See which foods and brands are WIC-approved
🥛 Know what to look for on the shelves
🍎 Avoid surprises at checkout
And remember, your FCHD WIC staff is always here to help if you have any questions while shopping. 💙

Our meetings are open to anyone who believes in supporting recovery and strengthening our community. Come share ideas, learn about local initiatives, and connect with others working to make a difference. 💜
