🐾 Pet of the Month: Ryku 🐾
Age: 15 years old
Meet Ryku—a resilient, wise old soul whose journey is a beautiful reminder of how much life our pets still have to live when given the right support.
When Ryku first began chiropractic care, he was facing several challenges common in senior dogs. He struggled with vestibular issues and a noticeable head tilt. He would often zone out and seemed disconnected from his environment. His hind end was weak, his pelvis sunk, and he had difficulty standing for long periods. He also walked with a persistent limp.
His loving mom had tried laser therapy, which helped somewhat—but it wasn’t enough. Medications were on the table, but she knew in her heart she wanted something more natural and supportive of Ryku’s body, not suppressive.
Then came chiropractic.
After beginning regular adjustments, Ryku began to transform. His strength improved. His body started to stabilize. He walked better, stood taller, and his limp began to fade. Most of all, Ryku became more alert—more himself again. He looked to his environment with interest, and even started finishing all of his meals with renewed appetite and joy.
Today, at 15 years young, Ryku is not just surviving—he’s thriving. He is a living testament to the power of natural healing and the deep bond between a dog and a pet parent who never gave up.
💚 We are so proud to honor Ryku as our Pet of the Month!
