Most people prefer private practice...no wait longer than 2 weeks for the initial appointment, same therapists for 15 years, relationships with the courts, and self-pay optional.

Because of COVID, we developed the capacity to reach out with our capacity to help others. People can register online. We did anger management while the person was in New Jersey and I was sitting at Side Cut Park. However, For most of the time, we did see people in person as we figured out how to keep the clients and ourselves safe.

Darkness and depression go hand in hand for some people. Many of us call it cabin fever in January. Seasonal Affective Disorder is real. Fall symptoms include oversleeping, change in appetite, weight gain, tiredness, and low energy. Darkness brings on the release of melatonin, the sleep hormone. It doesn't care if you still have 47 things left to do when you come home from work. Ah! TV and sleep.
