The attached piece was by Helen Grubb and Adam Goldberg. It was commissioned by B'nai Israel Synagogue to celebrate it's 150th Anniversary. Entitled "Honor and Inspire" it represents both a Menorah and the Biblical Tree of Life.

Recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities on syncope and disorders of the autonomic nervous system, Dr. Blair Grubb, UT Distinguished University Professor of Medicine, was honored by the Dysautonomia Advocacy Foundation (DAF) for his groundbreaking work in Dysautonomia research.

The DAF awarded Grubb with a $25,000 grant at a reception in his honor on Tuesday, Oct. 25 in downtown Charleston, S.C.

Dysautonomia describes a group of diseases in which the autonomic nervous system does not work properly, affecting the heart, bladder, intestines and other organs and blood vessels.

A research fund has been established to support Dr. Grubb’s mission to care for patients impacted by this condition.
