NEW PROGRAM ALERT! We're so excited for our new extension of our Society 21 program, Society 21 Gives Back. This program will be focused on volunteer work, helping bring a little light into the Northwest Ohio community.

This month, we'll be assembling World Down Syndrome Day celebration kits for local first responders and community leaders. Join us this Friday, March 6th at 5pm at the DSAGT office.

FINALLY, we're so excited to share our very first Empowered Families Conference!

The Empowered Families Conference is a one-day event designed to support, educate, and connect parents of children with Down syndrome and other disabilities. Through expert-led sessions on topics such as advocacy, navigating Ohio waivers, special needs trusts, family grants, child development, and holistic health, families will gain valuable tools and resources to help their children thrive.

Our 2025 Annual Report is now available!

2025 was a year of growth, impact, and resilience for DSAGT. We moved into our new Uptown Maumee office, hosted our largest Buddy Walk ever (nearly 1,400 participants!), welcomed 16 new families, and launched our new Family Resource Closet.

While the year brought some financial challenges, we remain strong and deeply committed to serving our families.

We’re so grateful for our incredible community of supporters who make this work possible. 💙

Is your child ready for a little extra support—and a lot of encouragement—on their learning journey? Are you looking for tools, guidance, and confidence to help your child thrive in school? Our Little Learners Educational Program is here to support both you and your student.

Designed specifically for students with Down syndrome in Pre-K through 3rd grade, Little Learners offers small-group instruction with peers at similar ability levels. Each month, students build foundational reading and early math skills, while also strengthening speech and fine motor development, all thoughtfully aligned with their individual IEP goals.

While students are learning and growing, parents grow too—through connection, education, and practical strategies to support learning at home and advocate effectively within the school system. Little Learners is more than a program; it’s a partnership focused on helping your whole family succeed.
