Pneumonia is inflammation and collection of fluid in the lungs that can be caused by viruses, bacteria or fungi. Symptoms include: cough, fever, shortness of breath, and chest pain.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month and we are proud to have a pharmacist here at Achor Family Pharmacy who focuses on Diabetes Management, Education, and care for our patients and community.

Did you know our pharmacist Hannah offers Diabetes classes at Maumelle Center on the Lake? She dives into all things diabetes related so you and your loved ones can feel empowered! In addition to classes, our pharmacy offers multiple services that can aid those living with diabetes including making sure recommended immunizations are up to date, providing multi-dose packing for better medication adherence, and delivery services as needed.

Being one of the first and leading pharmacies providing Diabetes Education in our state, pharmacist Hannah led a workshop for other Arkansas pharmacists showing how she leads classes and encouraging other pharmacies across our state to offer these services, better serve patients, address chronic conditions, and improve health outcomes in our communities.
