Each quarter, Mile Bluff selects an organization to benefit from their '𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲' Fridays.👖To raise funds, staff members are invited to wear jeans to work in exchange for a donation to the initiative.

Thanks to the generosity of Mile Bluff’s team, the most recent fundraising effort brought in $850. These funds were donated to Rocky And Rustys Redemption Rescue to help support their cause.

Palmer Capri was born on January 26, weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and measuring 21 inches long.

In celebration of 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩 and 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘦’𝘴 𝘋𝘢𝘺, our employees once again shared the love through our annual 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼‑𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 fundraiser. This heart‑shaped tradition lets staff surprise one another with a sweet treat and a kind message—and this year, the generosity was incredible.

In January 2024, Mile Bluff Medical Center broke ground at the former Mauston Shopko building. It’s a little hard to believe that in just over a year, that building was transformed into the Gateway Center – home of Mile Bluff’s Urgent Care, retail pharmacy, and dialysis units. Thanks to the generosity of donors, Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation recently provided three Novii Wireless Fetal Monitors and a Vscan handheld ultrasound for our Birthing Center.

The Novii Wireless Fetal Monitor is a belt‑free, wireless system that tracks fetal heart rate, maternal heart rate, and uterine activity starting at 34 weeks. Because it eliminates the need for wires, moms can move, rest, and labor more comfortably.

The Vscan handheld ultrasound pairs with a tablet, giving providers the ability to scan right at the bedside. This mobile tool helps the birth team quickly confirm baby’s position, check for a heartbeat, assess fluid levels, and more—without needing to borrow equipment from other departments.

As our Birthing Center and Obstetrics team continues to expand the services available to expecting mothers and their babies, we are deeply grateful for the Foundation’s ongoing support.
