Last week, our team had a great time attending The Health Plan Wellness Exhibition at the Highlands Sports Complex! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, explore local health resources, and be part of a community focused on wellness.

BINGO was a well-attended at the Senior Center this last Friday with over 100 seniors. Certus Healthcare was able to sponsor this event. Loved seeing all the smiling faces as they yelled BINGO and ran to the table to claim their favorite prize.
Prizes ranged from household cleaning supplies, Halloween decorations, candy/snacks, or Certus giveaways. Thanks for having us.

Certus Healthcare Directors of Community Engagement Heather and Brittney hosted a Halloween Paint in Sip at the Carr Center.

This is such a fun activity that put everyone in the Halloween spirit. We painted light up wooden pumpkins.

We also enjoyed punch and cookies.
We even took a moment to take a few silly pictures.

The Residents and Staff at the Carr Center had such a good time creating memories together.

Certus Healthcare Director of Community Engagement Heather Hamilton met and completed an online interview with Attorney Mike Bryan.
We talked about what Adams Lane Healthcare & Rehabilitation and Willow Haven Healthcare & Rehabilitation have to offer at each building.

Mike Bryan and his team practice Elder Law Attorney that help seniors protect assets from the cost of long-term Healthcare by using Medicaid or Veteran’s benefits.

Adam's Lane and Willow Haven both accept Medicaid and Short-term skilled VA. Adams Lane also has a contact with the VA to accept LTC VA and is the only nursing Facility in Muskingum County with a LTC contact.

Certus Healthcare Sponsored the Veteran’s Appreciation Breakfast this month at the American Legion Post 29. Our Culinary staff Cooked/Prepared Breakfast for over 200 Veteran’s and the Spouses.

Thank you to our Regional Culinary Director Dakota Hillard and our 2 Culinary Directors Katelynn Dunkle and Miranda Rieder. We also want to thank Lucy Hayhurst-Gill and Lori May who also helped but are not pictured.

Our Director of Community Engagement was able to speak with all the Veteran’s and let them know about all the different services our facilities offer to Veteran’s whether its short term or long-term care.

Certus also give out many great door prizes to our Veteran’s.
Shout out to Zanesville High School ROTC students for assisted in dishing out the Breakfast.

Certus Healthcare hosted a Veterans Health Expo. We would like to thank our Sponsors:

Directors of Community Engagement Heather and Rachel and Regional Director of Business Development Jessica.

We had over 30 Vendors at this event that offered different services for Seniors and Veteran’s. We had several Home Health agencies, Hospice, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, Senior Center, The Carr Center and The Veteran’s Appreciation Foundation/Honor Flight.

We would like to Thank all of our Culinary Directors Miranda, Katelynn, Lucy and Lori may who provided and served lunch.

Thank you to Tim Norman for providing us with entertainment.

In Honor of Dogg Appreciation Day this week. Certus Healthcare Director of Community Engagement Heather and Cedar Hill Social Worker Amber and Cedar Hill Clinical Scheduler/Receptionist Nikki took a trip to our local Animal Shelter to drop off some dog treats and toys. Thank you to April Gibson for allowing us to come love on all the Doggs and Cats. We can't wait to see you guys at our Communities when you bring some of your 4 legged furry friends to visit our residents, they love to see the animals as well.
