Mr. Howard Harris, age 90 of Mayfield, KY passed away at 4:40 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026 at his residence.

Howard grew up on the family farm in Lynnville, Kentucky, attended Cuba High School, and was in the United States Army. After completing his military service, he worked as a gas station attendant for 36 years in Michigan before retiring and returning to Mayfield, where he spent the last 26 years with Harris Real Estate & Auction.

He is survived by One Nephew; Danny Harris of Sedalia, One Niece; Crecia Harris of Mayfield, Three Great Nephew’s; Charlie (Stacey) Harris, Michael Dale (Anna) Harris, Kenneth Harris, Six Great Great Nephew’s; Roman (MaKenzie) Harris, Hunter (Mia) Harris, Ty Pena, Austin Harris, Adler Puckett, Michael Dale Harris II, One Great Great Niece; Abigayle Harris.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Shelby Harris, parents; Charlie and Creecy Watts Harris, brother; E.E. Bunk Harris, sister; Paula May Harris, Nephew; Dale Ray Harris, Niece; Christy Harris, Great Niece Shanna “JoJo” Pena

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the Lowes Cemetery with Rev. Paul Wilkerson officiating.

Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #26.
