UPDATED 4/7/26 FSIS Retracts Public Health Alert for Frozen, Ready-to-Eat Chicken Nuggets Due to Updated Laboratory Results.

PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT!
There has been a report of a potential unsafe levels of lead in frozen dinosaur shaped ready to eat chicken nuggets. A recall was not issued because the products are no longer available for purchase, but they may still be in consumer’s freezers. Consumers are urged not to consume them. There is no safe amount of lead exposure.

Product: Great Value Fully Cooked Dino Shaped Chicken Breast Nuggets 29-oz. plastic bags containing approximately 36 pieces with best if used date by February 10, 2027. Lot code “0416DPO1215” and establishment number “P44164” printed on the back of the bag.

Additional Information: Shipped to Walmart locations nationwide. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

Consumers with food safety questions can call the toll-free USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-MPHotline (888-674-6854) or send a question via email to MPHotline@usda.gov.

For consumers that need to report a problem with a meat, poultry, or egg product, the online Electronic Consumer Complaint Monitoring System can be accessed 24 hours a day at https://foodcomplaint.fsis.usda.gov/eCCF/.

The Graves County Health Department will be accepting bids through close of business on May 11th, 2026 for the sale of 2 company vehicles which include:

• 2005 White Chevy Blazer with approximately 146,373 miles
• 2008 Blue Ford Escape with approximately 198,818 miles

These vehicles are available for an inspection by appointment with the director of the health department. To schedule an inspection, you may call 270-247-3553.

Sealed bids must be submitted with a SF114 Form that can be accessed at the health department or online at https://www.gsa.gov/forms-library/sale-government-property-bid-and-award

Sealed bids will need to be submitted by close of business on Monday, May 11th, 2026. Opening of bids with be at the Graves County Health Department Conference Room on Tuesday, May 12th at 1:30 pm.
