Some of the Direction staff got together with the individuals they work with for a bowling afternoon. They had such a good time they started to discuss setting up to do it again! We love to see the collaboration. This can be helpful for those looking to meet new people or work on social skills as well as to work on budgeting, patience and of course fun!

Erika is entering her 6th year of employment with Direction, and we couldn’t be happier to have her as part of our team. We truly appreciate her dedication and the many years she has committed to our agency.

Erika brings a contagious laugh and positive energy everywhere she goes. She attends every agency event — proudly earning the number one spot for events attended — and has even organized several of her own. She understands the importance of socialization and building meaningful connections, and she consistently helps create opportunities for individuals to engage and form lasting bonds.

Erika is a dependable and hardworking professional. Whenever client coverage is needed, she is one of the first to step up. Her commitment, reliability, and genuine care do not go unnoticed — and her clients absolutely adore her.

Code Blue is a weather alert issued during extreme cold (temperatures expected to drop below 20 degrees), triggering a plan to help vulnerable populations, especially the homeless. Emergency shelter can be found at the following locations:

🐰We’re excited to return to the Scranton Cultural Center in just a few weeks for our Family to Family Easter Food Basket Giveaway!

🚗 Important Update: Based on feedback from previous holiday giveaways, each vehicle will be limited to 2 Food Baskets and will not be permitted to return to the line for additional baskets. This change helps us ensure that more families in our community have the opportunity to receive an Easter dinner. Thank you for your patience and cooperation in helping us serve as many neighbors as possible.

🍎 To ensure everyone has access to support, our Jackson Terrace pantry will be open until 4:00 PM on the day of the giveaway for anyone who is unable to receive a basket.
