Perhaps the most exciting thing this weekend is that our local chapter President was elected to serve as your 2026-2027 KENTUCKY HOSA STATE PRESIDENT!!!! Congratulations Logan Smith, we are ready to see where your leadership takes our 9,500+ members this next year! 🩻🩺👏🏻🫶🏻

We had the opportunity to attend the Health Opportunities Workshop sponsored by Northeast Kentucky AHEC on March 13th! We had a great day visiting and networking with colleges and organizations in our region that provided lots of information on how to get plugged in to health related careers. We also enjoyed several workshop sessions including surgery simulation, stop the bleed, advanced basic life support, stitching wounds, and more!

Our local chapter President and KY HOSA secretary participated in student leadership day at the capital in Frankfort, KY to thank our legislatures for their support in funding Career and Technical Education Programs, specifically for the biomedical pathway and our HOSA Future Health Professionals chapter.
