Coronavirus, an international flu, has been making headline news. Eyecare Network LTD. would like to assure our patients, providers and staff that we are following CDC guidelines in order to be prepared in the event it affects our area.
We will be updating procedures to protect you, the patient and our staff.
We're asking our patients that have traveled outside the US within the last 30 days or have been in contact with anyone who has, to let us know before coming to their appointment.
If you have been ill recently and/or have flu like symptoms (fever, cough, sneezing, sweating, chills, fatigue, ect.) we ask that you call to reschedule your appointment for 2 weeks later. We're asking patients not to return until symptoms have gone away and you are fever free without medication (Tylenol or Motrin) for at least 48 hours.
Eyecare Network LTD. has always stressed importance of keeping appointments as a part of the treatment plan. If a patient has to reschedule due to symptoms above, our physicians will review the chart to ensure best care possible, while decreasing chance of spreading an infection.
If a patient arrives to clinic and has symptoms, we will provide a mask and reschedule the appointment based on the direction of physician reviewing chart.
