Today was extra sweet here at the facility! 🍨
Our residents enjoyed building their own ice cream sundaes, complete with all the toppings. From sprinkles to chocolate syrup, smiles were everywhere!

Moments like these remind us how important it is to create joy, laughter, and a sense of home for our residents.

🌸🐰 A Day Full of Smiles & Spring Fun! 🐣🌼

Our residents at Maysville Nursing & Rehabilitation enjoyed getting creative with a fun “bunny in a pot” craft 🐇🪴—and they did an amazing job! It’s always so special to see their creativity shine.

Some of our staff also had the opportunity to head down to Rotary Park to join in the community Easter egg hunt with Hands of Hope—what a wonderful event filled with joy, laughter, and connection!

We love being part of such a caring community and creating meaningful moments for both our residents and staff. 💛

We had the BEST surprise visit from Willie & Sandy Jarrell (and their amazing care assistant)! They brought Easter eggs filled with goodies for all of our residents 🥚✨

Willie is a recent resident with us, and seeing him come back to give back like this means more than words can say. This is what community is all about ❤️

This week we recognize National Nursing Home Administrators Week—a time to honor the people who carry the responsibility of caring for some of the most vulnerable members of our communities.

Being a nursing home administrator is more than a title or a job. It’s a calling. It’s the quiet moments most people never see—sitting beside a resident who needs comfort, holding a hand when someone feels alone, reassuring a worried family member, and standing beside your staff on the hardest days.

Every day you make decisions that affect lives. Every day you carry the weight of making sure residents are safe, cared for, and treated with dignity. And in the middle of all the paperwork, regulations, and long hours, you never lose sight of the most important thing—the people who call your community home.

To every nursing home administrator:
Thank you for the compassion you show when no one is watching.
Thank you for the strength it takes to keep going on the difficult days.
Thank you for the heart you bring into a role that asks so much of you.

To our amazing team—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

During the winter storm, you continued showing up for our residents with the same love and dedication you bring every day. Many of you stayed overnight at the center, found rides to work, and did whatever it took to be right where you were needed most.

Our residents are always loved and cared for, and this was a powerful reminder of the heart behind that promise. That kind of compassion can’t be taught—it comes from who you are. You didn’t just do your jobs… you showed our residents what it truly means to be family. And when we say we love our residents like they’re our family, we mean it.

We also want to send our deepest gratitude to the first responders and all those working through the weather to keep our community safe, roads clear, and restore power. Your courage and service do not go unnoticed.
