CMHB is once again partnering with NAMI Metro Suburban and Park District of Oak Park to offer FREE Mental Health First Aid training at the CRC! Learn about common mental health disorders, how to assess for risk of self-harm and su***de, and how to support individuals who may be experiencing a mental health challenge.

Next up: Youth MHFA (for teachers, parents, and other adults who interact with youth) on Thursday, August 7, 9am-2pm

Two hours of pre-work is required and free professional development credits are available.
Registration closes 72 hours prior to each class.

DEADLINE EXTENDED: We have not had any entries for the Village of Berkeley scholarship so we are extending the deadline to Friday, July 11th.

Here is all the info:
The Village of Berkeley is pleased to announce the Village’s College Scholarship program, which will once again award two $1,000 College Scholarships and is open to all Berkeley residents. The College Scholarship recipients will be selected using the following criteria:

- School and Community Involvement
- Work Experience
- Academic Standing
- Financial Need

A Committee will review each application, all applications must be received no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2025. The Village College Scholarships will be awarded at the August Village Board Meeting. The Village College scholarship winners will be notified by letter, and the checks will be made payable to the institution.
