The improvements to our beautiful community keep rolling in! Our residents, their families, & our staff are becoming acclimated to the new door lock system & loving the added security to our building - But we had to share the new view from our Administrator's desk. She calls it her FBI surveillance office... we all call it a blessing. The new monitoring system has already prevented falls & accidents, bettered service at our entryways, increased productivity, & offered our residents, families, & staff a higher level of assurance that we are operating as efficiently & as safely as possible at Countryside at Belfair Assisted Living & Memory Care.

The Countryside at Belfair family is deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Kevin Priddle. Not only was Kevin the beloved husband to our Activities Director, Michelle, but was also loved by our residents & staff... as Kevin was a regular performer & volunteer in our building. Just last week, Kevin was filling our dining hall with his music - bringing joy & smiles as he so often did. Our love, prayer, & condolences are with Michelle, his family & friends. He will be terribly missed by us all. Thank you for sharing your beautiful mother & wife with us, Kevin. We'll all see you again.

The before & after is quite incredible! RL TREE CARE LLC did a phenomenal job this morning! Look how clean it is: The crew removed all the debris, raked, blew the roadway off... the whole professional works. We appreciate their team & we're so excited that we can now be clearly seen from the highway. Loving all the changes? But wait... THERE'S MORE! 👀

August's Employee of the Month is the incredible Janet McGee. With many years of experience, several in Geropsych, Janet is an incredibly valuable member of our Nurse Aid team. "Momma J", as she's affectionately referred to, works our night shift hours, ensuring all are safe & well cared for while you are resting. Thank you Janet for your hard work & dedication to our residents & your teammates!

Countryside at Belfair's first annual Car Wash was a bubblin' success! THANK YOU Cowabunga On Down and Udderly Art for joining us for such a 'cool' event, our residents loved their snowcones! Advanced Care Medical Equipment for manning our official Pit Stop for quick fixes & minor adjustments. We ALWAYS appreciate McAlester Pepsi for supplying our staff & residents with bottled water. HP Squatch stopped by to help out and have some fun. It was the funnest day while getting a good wash on all our resident mobility equipment.

Continuing education matters! We are so blessed to be active members of the Oklahoma Senior Living Association! At least one of our leaders have attended the state conference for the last four years, one of those our Administrator was a guest speaker. Our partnership with OKSLA is crucial to ensuring we have the most up-to-date information, support, & connections to industry leaders across the state of Oklahoma. Thank you Melissa Holland & her team for another fantastic opportunity for us to grow, as well as to Boomer Solutions for the always highly anticipated night of fun. Countryside at Belfair Assisted Living & Memory Care was well represented!

JUNE Employee of the Month is Laurissa Ragan! Laurissa is an outstanding Environmental Services Technician & responsible for the hard work that takes place behind the scenes in the laundry department! Don't think for one second that it's an easy task to not only maintain the laundry for over 60 residents, but she is also a dynamite teammate for filling in on the floor in rooms & common areas, ensuring that Countryside at Belfair not only looks & smells nice, but that it's a safe & clean environment for our residents, staff, & visitors. Our very first Employee of the Month as a new company - For the month of MAY, is Emmanuel Eubanks! Manny is an outstanding Dietary Tech who delivers excellent service to our residents. He is recognized for being kind, attentive, & always having a positive interaction & attitude with both residents & his teammates.
