My soapbox today. Bullying was not invented at Randy Hughes McAlester High School. It is at all levels at McAlester and throughout Pittsburg county. Many children I know have been bullied in all grades. Yes children are scared but they lose part of their self esteem with every world. What we call bullies have no sympathy for others. They see a weak spot and pound it in. The bullies don’t know what their actions do to others. They have no self respect, have problems receiving love. They don’t know give to love. I can go on being bullied myself. Love on your kids teacher them to sympathy for others. To realize the child being bullied has weak spots and not use them as a weapon. All parents be involved with your children. Watch their behaviors. I would hate to see a child die to being bullied. Love one another, teachers, parents and kids.

AUTUMN'S BALL CHARITY·WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2019

Autumn's Western Ball is a dinner/dance on May 10 2019 at 7 p.m. Aldridge Ball Room, McAlester, OK , put on by Carolyn , her family and Autumn’s Gang in honor of Autumn Hawkins , a close friend of ours, who is no longer with us. We raise money to help children of disability for things they need: such as medical equipment that the families simply cannot afford. This time they will be raising money for another disabled child, who has not yet been announced,. They need help in making this happen. Any donations; monetary, items (such as drinks, paper products, door prizes, dresses, western clothing, boots and cowboy hats (anything you wish) or volunteers will be greatly appreciated. They are reaching out to get as much help from the community as possible. These kids' life's are dramatically affected by improving their quality of life through your charitable donations.
To become a donor for future events, & to help in reaching their goal of helping children of disability before the end of 2019 please contact carolynmcnatt .com or 918-820-6507 or, Bryan Johnson, Jake McNatt or one of our co host Jennifer Chandler, Bill Wills, Eric Wills, Nancy McElyea Conner, Ashton Malone, Shawn Johnston, Sharon Weeks Sloniker , Robert Womack , Allie Jones, Brandon Clement, Lindsey VanPelt and many others.. We will keep everyone posted on the event. Pictured are some of the kids/adults who benefit from the dances we put on. These kids/adults would never get the chance to have that dance or prom that they so much deserve and they get to feel like Royalty for the night. Thank you and God bless everyone
