We provide, out of town rides, regular rides, food runs, grocery shopping, and prescription drop off and pickup. After working a short time for another cab company in McAlester, I was encouraged by some customers to start my own taxi service. I saw a lot of things being done by other cab companies that I did not agree with or like. The McAlester community has a lot of veterans, elderly, homeless,

disabled, and the retired folks who need a taxi service in McAlester that has Integrity and Honor. One with fair practices and one that puts the customers first. I am disabled and know that it is hard to make ends meet on a monthly retirement or disability check. I'm not only disabled, but am raising my three granddaughters. There are a lot of grandparents raising grandchildren as well. I strive to employ veterans, the disabled and retired to give them supplemental income. I want every customer to be treated with respect by kind and courteous drivers. But, we are not perfect and do make mistakes. We ask that you, our customers, be patient with us during busy times. Evidently, there are some rumors going around indicating that Rover Taxi put us out of business. That could not be farther from the truth. I have been looking to sell Classi Taxi for some time now. Due to some health issues, personal family and stress issues, I chose now to bow out. We have had a wonderful run of 6 years here in McAlester and are thankful to our we loyal customers. My number 2, Jennifer Foster, will be taking over under a new name in the near future. Please be looking for her she will maintain the Classi Taxi telephone number and client list and will notify everyone when she opens. Classi Taxi will be closing at 5:00 p.m. today. We will not be open again until tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. Each day we will evaluate the road conditions. As of now we will be open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. until further notice.
