International Migrants Day 🌎

Today we honor the courage, resilience, and strength of migrants around the world. ✈️
Migration often carries stories of hope, loss, adjustment, and profound change, and The Groves wants to recognize this unique journey, both emotionally and physically, through our continued support to feel seen, recognized & understood.

Recent events! ✨
The Groves was invited by Our Psyche, Inc.'s, Dr. Johanna Torres-Santiago and Dr. Oscar Melendez. to participate in South Texas Christian Academy's 7th annual Auction, Dinner, and Gala!! ✨

This was a night dedicated to raising funds for local private schools through the auction, along with solidifying the community we work alongside, as we thank our friends at Our Psyche for their support of The Groves, and allowing us to continue supporting the work we do together for the community we love to support! 🫂

We give our thanks to all in the community who we have the privilege to work alongside, we look forward to being able to continue our support to the communities around the RGV, around Texas, and to continue our support of you the community who has supported us along the way. 💚

Today is a day to breathe and ease the mind of the stresses this time of year brings, along with the help of some words of advice from Dr. Carlos Castillo. 🎅🏼

The holidays are a stressful time for all, and we want to make sure all are equipped with the tools and tips to best handle the stresses that come our way!

International Day of Persons With Disabilities

Today, we give extra visibility to those who are often unseen by society. Disabilities are not always obvious, and are often perceived as an inconvenience that requires an "extra effort" to accommodate them, but the truth is that navigating the world when it's not designed for you or accommodates your basic needs, then it doesn't sound so small anymore.

Empathy and inclusion should be the bare minimum in the world we live in. According to the WHO, an estimated 1.3 billion people experience significant disability. This represents 16% of the world’s population, or 1 in 6 of us!

Let's make a better world for all of us!

World AIDS Day ❤️

Once upon a time, not long ago, AIDS was a final sentence from every point of view. Fortunately, medicine has come such a long way and transformed how we view and treat this condition, saving so many from stigma and making it a condition that people can live with.

Today, we commemorate those who live with this condition and especially those who are no longer with us, shining a light on the progress we've made and on the work that still needs to be done, keep developing treatments and working on the mental health issues that still surround this disease.
