Hi there 👋🏽 It’s been a little while.

Lately, I’ve been in a quieter season.

The kind where motivation doesn’t come as easily, where unfinished projects sit a little longer, and rest feels more urgent than productivity.

As a therapist and business owner, I remind myself that even in the work of holding space for others, I also need space for myself to slow down, reset, and tune in.

This isn’t burnout. It’s not failure. It’s a pause.
And that pause has wisdom, too.

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, moving slower, or finding yourself needing more downtime lately, know that you’re not alone.

We’re allowed to ebb. We’re allowed to listen to our bodies. We’re allowed to not “do it all” all the time.

Sending love to anyone navigating a quiet or uncertain season. Your worth isn’t measured by your output. 🤍

What started as a dream rooted in healing, hope, and service has grown into something more beautiful than I could’ve imagined.

These past five years have been filled with growth, challenges, breakthroughs, and so many meaningful connections. I’ve had the honor of walking alongside incredible clients on their healing journeys and expanding Inner Solace Therapy to serve our community with compassion and care.

To my clients—thank you for your trust.
To my husband (and son)—thank you for cheering me on and ALWAYS supporting my grand ideas!
To my friends and colleagues—thank you for helping me carry this vision forward.

One of the most common questions I get asked is… “Do you really believe couples therapy works?”

The answer is always YES — but not because I’m a couples therapist.

I believe in couples therapy because I’ve seen firsthand how learning to communicate differently, heal unresolved wounds, and prioritize connection can completely transform a relationship.

Today, I had the honor of sitting down with Leah Wise and Omar Ochoa — a couple whose journey reflects just that. They opened up about what’s helped them sustain a healthy relationship, navigate challenges, and continue choosing each other through the seasons of life.

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣ challenged me in ways that felt extremely difficult at times. As I reflect, these are the life lessons I learned:

1. Grieving isn’t linear & healing doesn’t mean forgetting.
2. You don’t need to understand the “why” for everything; sometimes it’s enough to keep moving forward.
3. Life is meant to be lived.
4. Stop running towards the shiny objects- consistency always wins.
5. Falling down isn’t the end; it’s part of the journey.
6. Your people will show up when it matters—if they don’t, they’re not your people anymore.
7. Boundaries are tough, but saying YES to yourself is worth it.
8. Be kind to yourself, even if all you’re doing is surviving. Sometimes, that’s enough.
9. Eliminate the noise—starting with your inbox.
10. Love yourself, deeply and unapologetically.
