Sabemos que las pruebas de laboratorio no son las favoritas de nadie — especialmente para nuestros pequeños pacientes 💙
Pero las pruebas para detectar estreptococo, influenza, RSV y COVID son importante en el cuidado de su hijo(a).

Estos examenes rápidos nos ayudan a:
✔️ Identificar la causa de los síntomas de su hijo(a)
✔️ Determinar si realmente se necesitan antibióticos o antivirales
✔️ Evitar medicamentos innecesarios
✔️ Iniciar el tratamiento adecuado lo antes posible
✔️ Ayudar a prevenir la propagación de la enfermedad a familiares y compañeros de escuela

Aunque las pruebas pueden ser incómodas por solo unos segundos, la información que nos dan es invaluable para la salud y recuperación de su hijo(a).

We know swab tests aren’t anyone’s favorite — especially for our little patients 💙 But testing for strep, influenza, RSV, and COVID plays a very important role in your child’s care.

These quick swabs help us:
✔️ Identify the cause of your child’s symptoms
✔️ Decide if antibiotics or antivirals are truly needed
✔️ Avoid unnecessary medications
✔️ Start the right treatment as soon as possible
✔️ Help prevent the spread of illness to family members and classmates

While the test may be uncomfortable for just a few seconds, the information it gives us is incredibly valuable for your child’s health and recovery.
