We are excited to announce The Healing Circle Support Group—a safe and supportive space dedicated to survivors of domestic violence. This group offers an opportunity to find strength, healing, and hope, together with others who truly understand.

If you are still healing from the effects of domestic violence, this group is for you. Here, survivors are encouraged to share their stories and insights in a compassionate and confidential environment.

The Healing Circle provides a place to connect, be heard, and explore pathways toward healing and empowerment.

Angels of Love is a non-profit organization which provides free services to victims of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, stalking and trafficking across Hidalgo County. Angels of Love was founded with the purpose of developing a full array of services for women, children and families who are victims of family violence. It is our intention to fill the service gaps left by underfunded and understaffed governmental services to women and children.

My heart is heavy today 💔

We lost a member of the NFL brotherhood… a young man with a full life ahead of him… someone who was loved deeply by his family, his teammates, and this community.

Marshawn Kneeland was 24 years old.
A Dallas Cowboy.
A son.
A friend.
A human being fighting a battle most people never saw.

And that’s what hurts me the most.

I know that battle.
I’ve lived that battle.
As athletes, we’re taught to be strong… to fight through pain… to silence our struggles… to never show weakness. We’re praised for our physical toughness, but so many of us are silently breaking on the inside.

Mental health doesn’t care about status.
It doesn’t care about talent.
It doesn’t care how many fans cheer your name.

Behind the helmet… behind the highlights… is a human being trying to survive another day.

This tragedy is a painful reminder that even those who look like they have it all together might be hurting the most.

So let me talk to you from my heart…

If you are struggling, please stay. You matter.
There are safe spaces for you. There is help. There is hope.

Reaching out isn’t weakness, it’s courage.

And to everyone else…

Please learn the signs.
Please check on your people.
Please listen without judgment.
Don’t wait until it’s too late to ask, “Are you really okay?”

My prayers are with Marshawn’s family, his girlfriend Catalina, his teammates, and every life he touched. May God wrap them with comfort only He can provide.

Let this not just be a moment of sadness…
but a moment of awareness, a moment of change,
a moment where we decide to show up for each other differently.

Rest in peace, Marshawn.
